Miro refnery turnaround to cut diesel output

The 301,000 b/d Miro refnery at Karlsruhe in southwest Ger- many will shut down its plant section 1 in mid-February for maintenance and modernisation work until the end of March. The afected units account for 60-70pc of the refnery’s capacity and primarily produce diesel. Overall production is curtailed by about 50pc as of this week, as Miro shut down the frst key units from 13 February as part of maintenance and major inspections. The major part of the facilities will follow in stages over the following two weeks.
