Asia butyl acetate strengthens on tight supply

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia's butyl acetate (butac) markets are bolstered by persisting supplyconstraints against a backdrop of strong feedstock values. In key southeast Asia markets, spot deals on a cost-and-freight (CFR) basis were concluded at $1,350-1,400/tonne as of 28 January. Indicative workable levels on the buying side for second-half February arrivals were at around$1,350/tonne CFR SE (southeast) Asia.
