Long milking times a 'blind, of the industry

Long periods waiting to be milked is ruining cows and contributing towards 50% of them being diagnosed with bloody soles, Dutch vet and Cow Signals expert Joep Driessen said in a webinar hosted by Farming Connect.Mr Driessen said across the world milking periods were too long. He estimated the average time cows spent being milked and waiting in the collecting yard was two hours twice-daily.
