Examining the Pandemic's Impact on & the Current Status of Pecan Demand

In early June this year, I was honored to facilitate a Pecan ft Roundtable for the International Nut Congress (INC) webinar series on nuts and dried fruits. It was a virtual meeting with participants from around the world. Joining me on the pecan panel were Andreas Snyman from GWK Pecans in Northern Cape, South Africa, and Ricardo Martinez Cobian from Pecaninis in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Together, we gave updates about the global supply of pecans and the impact on demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
