摘要

Soil and Cynodon dactylon plant samples around an oil depot were analyzed using AAS/ AES to assess levels of accumulation of some elements. Their concentration ratios showed that they had low uptake ability (CR < 0.9) for the elements. The T-test results indicated significant differences in the concentrations of all the elements in the plant/control, and some elements in the soil/control samples. Strong and significant positive correlation existed between some elements, indicating chemical affinity and/or similar genetic origin. Cross-plot analysis results of the vegetation/soil suggested inter-element correlations between them. Thestudyshowed that the soils and plants were contaminated with the metals.
