摘要

Capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection ((CD)-D-4) has emerged as a powerful technique for the detection of compounds lacking any distinct chromophores or fluorophores. This review provides an update of the most recent application in CE-(CD)-D-4 for pharmaceutical, biomedical and food covering the period from January 2012 to January 2014. The present review is an update of two previous review papers covering the years 2000-2010 (Biomedical Chromatography 2010; 24: 1038-1044 and Biomedical Chromatography 2012; 26: 990-1000). Representative examples illustrate the applicability of CE-(CD)-D-4 in the fields of pharmaceutical, biomedical and food. Finally, general conclusions and perspectives are provided.
