China’s crude oil imports to date rise 8.3%

Hong Kong—China’s crude imports were 104.32 million mt (3.6 million b/d) in the first seven months of 2008, an increase of 8.3% from 96.37 million mt (3.3 million b/d) in the same period of 2007, according to preliminary trade figures released August 11 by the country’s General Administration of Customs.
