Chevron’s Rosebank progress

US major Chevron says it is pushing ahead with development work for the Rosebank field that lies 129km west of the Shetland Islands. “The Rosebank project is progressing through the Front End Engineering and Design phase. The joint venture participants have made significant progress in optimising the Rosebank facilities and have identified changes to the scope of the facilities, which we expect to deliver a reduction in development costs and a consequent improvement in project value,” said Alex Yelland, Chevron UK’s manager for Policy, Government and Public Affairs.
