摘要

This paper investigates the influence of integration of wind farm containing front-end speed controlled wind turbines (FSCWT) on local power grid. A comprehensive model including the wind turbine, pitch control model which have support ability on transient voltage, excitation control and WinDrive control is realized in the DIgSILENT. Combined a typical example of wind farm integration into Minqin local power grid, load flow analysis and short circuit calculation are carried out and its impact of the local grid voltage level as well as the low voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability is studied. After that, a comparison between the wind farms with FSCWTs and doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) is conducted by analyzing their influence on transient stability. Results show the effectiveness of the established model. It is observed that the local system stability, transient stability and LVRT capability are improved with the integration of wind farm containing FSCWTs compared with the DFIGs.
