Honeywell sees business jet deliveries slowing

Deliveries of new business jets will slow over the next 10 years as many regions continue to experience economic and geopolitical instability, according to aerospace manufacturer Honeywell International Inc.New business jet deliveries are expected to total 9,200 over the next 10 years, down 2.6 percent from the 9,450 jets projected a year ago. The value of these deliveries will likely be $270 billion, off 3.6 percent from Honeywell's estimate of $280 billion last year, the Morristown, N.J.-based company said in its 2015 global business aviation outlook. The report is based on surveys of business jet operators and original equipment manufacturers' development plans.
