摘要

peripheral and central chemoreceptors are the main reflex mechanisms responsible for the control of ventilation during exposure to hypoxia and hypercapnia (1). Peripheral chemoreceptors are located in the carotid bodies and aortic arch (10), whereas central chemoreceptors are located in the brain stem (25). The activation of one or both chemoreceptors leads to an increase in ventilation and muscle sympathetic nerve activity CMSNA) (14).
