Formosa granted final permits for Louisiana petchem project

FG LA LLC, a subsidiary of the Formosa Plastics Group (FPG; Taipei, Taiwan), says it has been granted the fnal air permits required for the construction of the frst phase of its $9.4-billion Sunshine project in Louisiana. The company received its fnal Title V operating permits from Louisiana's Department of Environmental Quality, saying it “marks the receipt of all environmental permits needed for FG to begin construction of its world-scale ethylene complex in St. James Parish.”
