Aceto to sell pharma subsidiary as part of bankruptcy process

Aceto has entered into a “stalking horse” agreement to sell its Rising Pharmaceuticals subsidiary, a distributor of over- the-counter and generic drugs, to Shore Suven Pharma for $15 million. Shore Suven Pharma is a joint venture between Suven Life Sciences (Hyderabad, India), a life sciences contract manufacturing frm, and Shore Pharma Investments, a holding company founded by Aceto board member Vimal Kavuru.
