Sinopec Engineering outlines progress on projects, new awards

Sinopec Engineering (Beijing, China), a member of the Sinopec group with a separate stock-exchange listing, has reported a big increase in sales and profits, and outlined the progress of several major petrochemical projects the company is working on, in China and abroad. In a regulatory filing on Monday, Sinopec Engineering says that in the first six months of this year, the group’s revenue rose 23.7% year on year (YOY) to 22.682 billion renminbi ($3.22 billion) with the profit margin remaining stable at 10.5%.
