Aiding Mongolia's animals

In recent years, Mongolia has been struck by successive summer droughts followed by severe winters, known as 'dzuds'. Such conditions, combined with malnutrition and insufficient water, have left animals vulnerable to parasites and disease. Livestockand horses have been hit hard as a result, with some six million animals dying between 2000 and 2003.
