Tell me, do you know the way to the Northwest? Or - maybe - the name of a good surveyor? In Scandinavia and for sure in Sweden, people consider me as a spokesman for the produce industry in the United States. The truth is far from that. Though it is fine with me as long as I understand the issues involved. Here in Scandinavia, we think we know a lot about the United States of the Great America. We think of Florida or maybe even California when talking about the Sunshine State. To be very honest, I ama little confused myself. People know that Alaska belongs to the United States but not that the United States bought this huge piece of land from Russia at the enormous sum of 1.2 million dollars. The czar needed some cash to entertain his French ladies. Maybe Mr. Putin wants to buy it back. He has plenty of oil money. Imagine, the Russians catching the salmon. Here people think the United States stole land from Mexico.
