Combination of features for classifying diffuse lung opacities in thin-section computed tomography images

The design of a computer-aided diagnosis(CAD) system has been clinically in demand. One way to improve the CAD system is to combine different type of features. In this paper the combination of the Gabor and histogram features for classifying diffuse lung opacities in thin-section computed tomography images is investigated.
