摘要

We can orient to our destination from several points on the way to it by attuning to the geocentric coordination. The geocentric coordination consists of geographical features such as the cardinal points, mountains, rivers, and streets, which give the environment the constant anisotrophy through a wide area. Spatial knowledge enables us to use the information specifying to the geocentric coordination. Our informal experiment showed that 10 female undergraduates would look upward more frequently while moving on the ground than in a underground space. It suggests that they gather the information specifying to the geocentric coordination, such as the sun, high buildings, and mountains.
