摘要

The wear resistance of fine chrome-based coatings with added ultradispersed diamonds (UDD) has been investigated when the coatings are applied by ion-plasma sputtering in the vacuum. Relationships between the friction coefficient and the path of the indentor, the geometrical parameters of the friction track and the surface morphology have been examined. It is demonstrated that introduction of UDD (up to 5 mass %) into the target produces a surface structure which best resists wear.
