摘要

The paper deals with the penetration of a rigid sphere into a homogenous elastoplastic hardenable solid body. The model has served to advance analytical dependencies describing the behavior of the hardenable elastoplastic solid body in the elastoplastic region of contact deformation in the terms of the loading, mean contact pressure - the imprint radius and the loading, the mean contact pressure the depth of indentation. The results of calculation of some plastic characteristics of a number of metallic materials are presented. It is shown that the calculation results coincide will with the experimental studies. The proposed analytical dependencies can be useful to process an experimental diagram of indentation in order to calculate the mechanical characteristics of a studied material.
