Spyker Launches Aluminium 'Super SUV'

Netherlands-based Spyker has introduced what it says is the first in a new category of vehicle: the super sport utility vehicle (SSUV). To launch the category, Spyker is introducing the all-aluminum, permanent-four-wheel-drive D12 Peking-to-Paris. The vehicle-a small to mid-sized SUV measuring 16 feet long by 6-1/2 feet wide-has an all-aluminum body fitted to an aluminum spaceframe and weighs in at only 4,169 lbs. Spyker says the SUV has a top speed of 185 miles per hour.
