About a rational technology of the electrically-thermal processing of fluid middle-level radioactive waste produced by Ukrainian nuclear power plants

Options for a centralized, local or combined electrically - thermal processing of fluid radioactive waste (RAW) produced by the operation of Ukrainian power plants are considered. Advantages of a combined smelting of the borosilicate glass from oxides of RAW are shown, possibilities to remove harmful oxides from gases and to recover several products outputted by the gas cleaning are defined.
