摘要

Damage evaluation of structural concrete is developed, using acoustic emission (AE) method and damage mechanics. Concrete-core samples are tested in an unconfined compression test. In the present study, concrete samples in service and damaged by freezing and thawing process are examined. Quantitative damage evaluation method based on fracturing behavior under unconfined compression is studied. AE behavior of concrete is dependent on the degree of damage, and could be simulated using the rate process analysis. Using a Loland's model, the relationship between stress and strain is modeled, and the applicability of the damage parameter is confirmed. By calculating the relative damage of actual structure quantitative damage estimation is performed.
