摘要

The ultrastructure of mucilage of mucilage cells from different organs of 7 Alecea species malvaceae family have been carried out. For the first time mucilage cavities have been described in the pericarp and seed coat of these species. It is found out that under high magnifications of electron microscope mucilage from different organs may be divided into two types. Using less magnifications mere than two groups of mucilages can be distinguished. Different morphological groups of mucilage are located in different cells of the same organ. They may also occur within one cell. In some species mucilage structure does not differ in plants from different growth conditions. different inclusions have been found in the mucilage. Silica compounds are found in dense areas of mucilage of different morphological groups after treatment with hydrofluoric acid.
