Schorsch joins ArcelorMittal group board in executive shuffle

The retirement of one key executive has led ArcelorMittal SA, Luxembourg, to make a number of changes to its group management board, including adding responsibilities to the plate of one of its chairmen and to that of one of its top North American executives. Lakshmi N. Mittal, chairman and chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal, will now take direct charge of health and safety, while Louis L. Schorsch, chief executive officer of its Flat Carbon Americas division, will join the group management board as a replacement for Christophe Cornier.
