Boeing seals 4-year IAM labor deal

Boeing Co. has set the stage for a ramp-up in production with a labor agreement that assures peace with its largest union for the next four years. Some 31,000 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) union in Washington state, Portland, Ore., and Wichita, Kan., approved a new contract that runs through 2016, a reversal from more than two decades of labor strife.
