摘要

In order to build a small satellite in the mass range of 5-kg (microsatellite), the feasibility study has been begun for the development of microsatellite. Several key technologies are studied such as small reaction wheel, small electric propulsion, docking mechanism, electrical recharging device, and software for three-axes attitude control by using image processing. This paper is described about the experimental test of the original berthing and docking mechanism for microsatellite under the microgravity condition, which was carried out on October 27 to 28, 1999, at Japan Microgravity Center (JAMIC), Kamisunagawa, Rokkaido.
