摘要

As the quality of modern life improves, the comfort of environment inside vehicles is receiving attention. The various heat problems concerning cars exposed under the scorching sun have challenged engineers in recent years. This study proposed a solar-driven auto ventilation cooling system which adopt solar panels to convert solar energy into electric energy to drive the blower, thereby drawing the outside cooler air into the car, blowing the hotter air out, and subsequently cooling the interior temperature. Moreover, the heat source was used to estimate the vehicle boundary conditions, and then the CFD simulation software was used. The results show that the proposed system can reduce the interior temperature by about 10°C, which can enable the air conditioner to cool down the temperature more quickly. In other words, the proposed system not only save energy, but also effectively cool the interior environment of the vehicle down to a comfortable temperature.
