IN MY January report I commented that lot feeders have become accustomed to volatility in our operating models, and the second half of 2008 was an amazing sequence of swings and roundabouts in currencies, interest rates, commodity prices and energy prices. As governments around the world strive to address the challenges that the global financial crisis has initiated, the Australian Government is also ramping up its approach in order to avert serious damage to our economy.
