And perhaps the most confusing of all is the understanding ofsparkling wines, the festive wine for all special seasons and occasions... the wine of celebration.The most questions I receive from readers and friends concern sparkling wines, their different names, titles and processing procedures. There is a lot of curiosity and lack of knowledge out there and it seems that today's wine consumer is getting more diligent, inquisitive and demanding for facts concerning these wines, which is a delight to me as a longtime wine educator.
