Calculation and experimental study of a unidirectional rubber-cord composite in tension and compression

摘要

Calculation and experimental study of transversetension and compression of a rubber-cord composite withunidirectional scheme of reinforcement is presented. Thecalculation results for components of the composite and for thewhole composite are compared with the experimental data. Theloss of stability of the deformed rubber-cord composite intransverse tension is analyzed.
