摘要

A rubber-cord composite with cross-reinforcing fibers of polyamide cord under large tensile strains is investigated based on calculations of a rubber composite material and on tensile tests of specimens made of a frame of a diagonal-construction truck tire. A method for the experimental tensile testing of rubber composite specimens is described. The calculations are based on the carcass theory for composite materials. Calculated and experimental parameters of the macroscopic strain of a rubber tire cord and of its structure in a deformed configuration are given. The manifestation of edge effects in the tested specimens of a rubber composite material depending on the angle of cross arrangement of the cord threads is described.
