兵庫県南部地震から15年～ 内陸地m内地震に対する構造設計の話題と展望

摘要

Many buildings suffered serious damage during the Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake. A lot of earthquakes occurred all over the Japanese islands and many earthquake ground motion records are obtained during these 15 years. Then, methods for evaluating strong ground motions and the building seismic performance have been improved drastically. On the other hand, it is expected that the inland shallow earthquakes represented by the earthquake due to the Uemachi fault zone will cause serious building damage in Osaka. Recently, structural engineers in Kansai area are trying to make a challenging design method to prepare for such earthquakes by themselves. In the paper, the movements concerning with inland earthquakes during thesel5 years in Osaka, the present status and future aspect are described.
