摘要

High damping rubber has been widely used as seismic isolations for buildings and damping control devices mounted in equipments, recently. Various kinds of mechanical properties of material used for damping rubber bearing have been required. Especially, applications to the light weight structures and lengthening the natural period of devices by using low elastic modulus have been attained. We have developed the high damping rubber, which has the characteristics of low elastic modulus. And we also have evaluated its dependence on temperature, frequency, shear strain of equivalent shear modulus and equivalent damping factor by using shear specimen, and the creep performance and tensile strength by using rubber-metal laminated bearing. In this paper, the evaluated results will be reported.
