摘要

The absorption of NPK by soyabean and maize plants was examined in a trial comparing 23 years of consecutive application of different combinations of N, P and K. In soyabeans, the absorption of N and crop yield were increased by the application of P. In contrast, maize responded weakly to P fertilizer, and its yield was low in all experimental plots. It is suggested that this may be due to the lowering of soil fertility from long-term application of chemical fertilizers.
