New data on the natural intergeneric hybrid XSorbocotoneaster pozdnjakovii (Rosaceae).

摘要

Sorbocotoneaster pozdnjakovii is a natural hybrid between Sorbus sibirica and Cotoneaster melanocarpus discovered in southern Yakutia, Siberia, in 1928. New data are presented here on the morphology and habitats of this hybrid. Three forms of Sorbocotoneaster were identified. It is suggested that a botanical reserve should be established to conserve this hybrid.
