摘要

Aberrant fatty acid metabolism plays an important role in the development of hepatic steatosis. ATF6α knockout mice develop tunicamycin-induced hepatic steatosis, but the role of ATF6 deficiency in the liver in the regulation of hepatic lipid metabolism in response to dietary overloading is unknown. Methods: The important role of ATF6 regulation in liver lipid metabolism was studied in vivo and in vitro via ade-novirus-mediated expression of foreign genes. Chip assays and DLA assays were performed to explore the ATF6-PPARα signaling pathway. Conclusions: Our results indicate that strategies to activate ATF6 may represent an alternative avenue to improve liver function and treat hepatic steatosis in obesity.
