P.Galkoff Kosher butcher shop on Pembroke Place, Liverpool has been at the centre of a heritage project for the last two years, which has seen its remarkable, distinctive, and beautiful tiles removed from their decrepit building. The tiles have been moved and are now on display at the heart of a new exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool, which explores the history of the neighbourhood: 'Galkoff's and the Secret Life of Pembroke Place'.
