Bowleven expecting imminent Cameroon approval amidst asset hunt

Bowleven expects the approval for exploitation of its Bomono gas discovery in Cameroon to be handed out next month while it continues to search for new assets across Africa. The UK company submitted an Exploitation Authorisation Application late last year for its Moambe and Zingana gas discoveries near the capital of Douala. Bowleven is looking at either a 5 to 6 MMcf/d power generation project or providing the gas for domestic use into the existing network.
