Editorial: British Neuropathological Society and International Society for Forensic and Radiology Imaging Expert Consensus Statement for Post-mortem Neurological Imaging

摘要

One of the central tenets of the International Society for Forensic Radiology & Imaging is to promote best practice and education in forensic radiology, establishing standards and recommendations for forensic radiology and imaging. As post-mortem imaging gains traction as a mainstream method of investigating paediatric and perinatal deaths, there is a recognised need for expert guidelines regarding a pragmatic approach, in the absence of empirical data. This is particularly true in paediatric post mortem neuroimaging, where a small number of practitioners around the world are developing experience in this field.
