Kosmos thwarted by rare Cameroon test

Kosmos will write off around US $75m following an unsuccessful and rare well onshore Cameroon. The Sipo well was drilled on the Ndian River block in the Rio del Rey Basin. Kosmos had been unsuccessfully trying to farm down before spudding in early February.
