Harvest sets date for Gabon FPSO decision

The partners in the Dussafu FPSO project off Gabon are now saying they are hoping for government approval for the development plan before the end of this year with a final investment decision slipping slightly to the first quarter of 2015. Operator Harvest Natural Resources has now submitted a detailed development programme to the authorities based on an FPSO sited over the Ruche field with tie-backs from the Tortue, Moubenga and Walt Whitman finds. The vessel will be moored in around 395ft (120m) of water, with the longest tie-back just under 20km. The original Ruche field will also be appraised as part of the exploitation plan.
