PanAfrican launches Tanzania drilling

PanAfrican Energy has started drilling the first of a series of wells offshore Tanzania as it tries to lift production to fill existing pipeline capacity. Paragon's M826 (formerly Noble Lloyd Noble) has started drilling the first of three workover wells on the Songo Songo gas project. The rig was also drill one new development well taking its firm contract until mid-December with an option for two more wells. The workovers will use the existing platform and flowlines.
