NORWAY: Nearly half of Norway's Golf buyers now opt for the battery-powered version

In what currently ranks as Europe's way and ahead biggest electric car market, and where pure battery-powered cars are already responsible for nearly a fifth of this year's overall car market, one newcomer in particular has stormed and taken Nissan's long-held electric car citadel in Norway. This June, the e-Golf zoomed to 747 units. Nissan's newly dethroned LEAF slumped 40.6 per cent to just 186 units. Other than that, this June the e-Golf derivative accounted for almost one-in-two Golfs sold in Norway.
