By mid-2019, Iran’s Kimia Mining Group plans to increase its concentrating capacity at Kimia Steel in Bijar, Kurdistan province, to 900,000 tpy, Metal Expert learnt from the company’s press release. “Currently, we are capable of producing 400,000 tpy of concentrate but within eight months our capacity will reach 900,000 tpy,” the company’s representative commented. “The contractor has already started equipment manufacturing.”
