GALLARDO BALBOA TO BE SOLD TO US INVESTMENT FIRM

EC published a notice of the acquisition of Spain’s longs producer Gallardo Balboa Group by an inter-national investment company.According to EC, the investment company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), which is helping the Spanish company with refinancing of its debt, intends to buy Gallardo Balboa Group by acquisition of shares. No more details were revealed by the European antitrust body except that “transaction could fall within the scope of the Merger Regulation,” Metal Expert learnt from Official Journal of the European Union.
