摘要

Polymeric solid acid resins have become increasingly important as catalysts in many industrial reactions because they offer several advantages over homogeneous (i.e.,liquid) acids,such as easier product separation and facile catalyst recovery.Solid catalysts also permit processing options that are not possible with homogeneous acid catalysts (e.g.,fixed bed reactors),and they can even result in improved reaction selec-tivities compared to homogeneous catalysts.
