Oil prices hit a fresh four-month high last week with US bench- mark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) breaking through the $60 per barrel barrier after Energy Information Administration data showed domestic crude tanks plummeting by 9.6 million barrels in the most recent week to Mar. 15. Tanks normally build at this time of year, but near-record exports and bumper domestic refinery runs are making that impossible (p1).
