Jet fuel stocks in the Pacific Basin fell to 19.1 million bbl by end-May as refiners cut utilization rates in order to boost flagging margins. Relatively low tanks on the US West Coast helped boost regional jet fuel spreads, drawing cargoes across the Pacific from South Korea and else- where. Stocks of burning kerosene in North Asia hit a low point of 14.9 million bbl in April before heading higher in the run-up to the next win- ter heating season.
