Tyre management and tyre selection can have a significant impact on costs and productivity -and mine layout and infrastructure need to take tyres into account to reduce those costs and minimise downtime. The technologies built into premium tyres are often not obvious, but they are the result of decades of investment in R&D, many years of testing on the surface and underground, and extensive observations in actual quarries and mines across the world.
